We're both giggling hard when the road suddenly dips, rises and disappears.
The laughter stops.
Neither of us know where the road goes. The tail goes light, waggles and we both become passengers. Dan knows that if I brake we die; the car will swap ends faster than a dog chasing its tail. He is screaming, 'Don't f*cking brake!'
I don't and we survive.
We go back to base driving even faster. 'We are immortal!' I scream at Dan, genuinely believing it.
He looks unconvinced.
